DREAMING OF THE SEA, 2006

"The seaside is 25 miles faraway from my feet, yet it is an illusionary wish for me, in Ramallah, to reach it under the Israeli blockage and check points. But came across this quote by Anaïs Nin which states: Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living." Inass Yassin

Dreaming of the Sea was part of the international art show Luminal Spaces. In the six-minute video, the artist  explores traveling through space to reach the sea, which, at the end seems to be nothing but a distant dream.
